Well-developed intuition is a SUPERPOWER.
Here are some tips for developing your intuition:
Trust your Inner Voice: Your inner voice is your best counsellor, advisor, and friend. Too often, we look outside for guidance (which is ok from time to time); however, we need to learn to trust our inner voice and listen to the guidance of our intuitive insights and gut feelings. As Dr Wayne Dyer said: “If prayer is you talking to God, then intuition is God talking to you.”
Meditate: Spending time in solitude and being centered within yourself especially first thing in the morning, is a great way to develop your intuition. In those times of quietness, you will often get an idea or answer that you have been looking for.
Get Creative: Einstein said that “Imagination is more important than knowledge”. So start getting creative and fire up your imagination either through creative visualisation, drawing, poetry or journaling or creative writing; whatever it is, get those creative juices flowing.
Through science we see the dawn of the ‘Age of Enlightenment’.
62 Years ago, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi predicted that one percent of a population practicing the Transcendental Meditation® technique would produce measurable improvements in the quality of life for the whole population. This was proven to be true when in 1974, 1% of a...
Powerless to Powerful in 3 Steps
Powerless to Powerful in 3 Steps. One of the worst feelings you can ever feel is the feeling of powerlessness. I want to share with you a story; last week, I had extremely low blood pressure, and I was feeling exceptionally lethargic for days, and my blood pressure was ninety-eight over forty…
Transformation is the Discovery of Value
Suffering is self-inflicted. The first time I really heard that, or really learnt and understood that, I didn’t actually want to hear it. I preferred to blame someone else for the way I was feeling. To be honest, maybe it was a little bit of enjoying that emotional...
Meditation is My Medication
Meditation is my Medication - I know some of you have heard me say that before, but this is actually a story I want to share with you of somebody else – a completely random stranger. She came into my office here yesterday, just going from office to...
Think Differently About Failure
I don’t just tell people to dream, I tell people to dream bigger. So whatever dreams or goals you have, I really do encourage you to expand them and dream big dreams, even bigger than you originally dreamt. You know, it was Michelangelo who said “Most people fail in...
Never Settle for Less Than What You Want
I know so many people who doubt their ability to create the life that they want. So what do they do? They lower their desire to match their current experience. Don’t ever let that be you. No matter what your situation is if you’ve got something inside your heart that you are longing to do, or to be, or to become, or to have, don’t give up on that and just settle. Don’t say, “I’ll never be able to create that; I’ll never be able to become that.” No, don’t say that. Here is my advice:
Living In The Flow: Part One-8 of 8 Living In The Flow
This is the last chapter of Part One of the book ‘Living in the Flow’ which is the title of my book. Living in the flow is the sweet spot of the conversion of your three highest priorities: having an awareness of your constant connection to source energy – and tapping into that power; finding your life’s purpose, and developing your intuition. When you have those as your highest priorities, you then live on purpose, live a guided life, and live with faith – which is trust without reservation that things will work out for you.
Living In The Flow: Part One-7 of 8 Living with Faith
I love this quote, ‘Faith is not belief without proof, its trust without reservation.’
What I have come to understand is that faith is honestly the power-principle of all time. Any time that someone says, ‘That’s a miracle’, and I mean a miracle, it was because of faith. Faith has achieved the impossible. Faith is actually something that we cultivate. It is like a body-builder building a muscle; you have to develop it.
Living In The Flow: Part One-6 of 8 Living a Guided Life
When you have discovered your life purpose and live each day trusting your intuition, you will live a guided life. This is the most gratifying, rewarding and joyous experience. The result of this awareness is knowing that your life is guided by some omnipotent power that fills the entire universe with perfection and love. It is more than seeking this guidance. It’s a dependence on this guidance – having trust, reliance and confidence in this power which will never ever lead you in the wrong direction. It will give you all the resources that you are seeking.
Living In The Flow: Part One-5 of 8 Living On Purpose
This chapter is a crossover between having an awareness of your connection with Source Energy, and finding your life’s purpose this is called Living On Purpose, and it’s exactly that, it means you are living with intention. This is an important chapter because it helps to clarify where you are going in life and how to get there. The three tools that we need to live on purpose and create a vision for our lives, and achieve our goals, are understanding, awareness and self-evaluation.
Living In The Flow: Part One-4 of 8 Developing Your Intuition
I love this chapter because developing your intuition is probably the most important skill that you could ever develop in your life. Why? Because your intuition is your best guide, hands down. In my book I describe intuition like imagining your whole body is a vehicle driving around, and you need guidance, so you have a GPS system. Source Energy is that GPS, but the signal is your intuition. If we have static in the signal, the GPS will not work quite right and we get lost. How many times do you get that feeling that you are lost, confused, disheartened and don’t know where to go and what is the right decision for you?
Living In The Flow: Part One-3 of 8 Finding Your Life Purpose
Finding your life purpose has got to be the single most important goal you could ever have in your life, hands down. It is something I am very passionate about because my whole life I never knew what mine was. In fact, I was very frustrated by the term. I was even annoyed sometimes because for me it was such an enigma. I didn’t even know what the term really meant.
Living In The Flow: Part One-2 of 8 Developing a connection with Source
Today I am going to talk about a constant connection to Source and how this is one of your highest priorities. In fact, you can never be disconnected but it’s up to us to stay connected. Your physical body is that connector; it’s like a conduit. Your consciousness and Source Energy are always one.
Living In The Flow: Part One-1 of 8 Overview
I would love to share a little bit about the book that I wrote which may be useful to people who maybe haven’t read it, or had access to it. ‘Living in the Flow’ is a guide to discovering your purpose and your value in this world.
Why Are You Here?
What’s your why? Why are you here? Why were you born? What are you meant to accomplish on this planet called Earth? Have you ever contemplated that question deeply?
